preternaturality - inquietude ep by n.m. bell subtle gestures fill this vast expanse metamorphosis, engulfing trance stooping to lows now unseen pictures frozen in distant hotels jaws fall slack, they stories once did tell walk on glass, ever cautiously forced smiles escape faces each day leaving trails of harm along their way greeting strangers, travelers the same preternaturality draws near whispering screams into our ears our futures decided our futures divided our futures, confided, were only a dream moon sends ripples flailing in the light weeping now as eyes both meet the sight turning stones already smooth forced smiles escape faces each day leaving trails of harm along their way greeting strangers, travelers the same preternaturality draws near whispering screams into our ears preternaturality is here whispering screams through our ears

hypothermia 04:02
hypothermia - inquietude ep by n.m. bell meet me on the frozen isles where light runs short to cover smiles, loud silence kisses death around the frost beneath our toes, the ground, at once you whispered to me, "it seems "long has passed since summer's gleam," I know so bathe me in your winter light, and sing the tragic tale of blizzards' snow summers pass and winters die the sun envelops leaves that lie about slipping through a split, remains never to see night nor day again now alone, the earth's soft voice trembles as you see the choice is made so toss aside your shovel, and take rest inside the place you call your grave restitution, recompense for damages at your expenses, paid water runs the cracks alone widening the gap from the unknown you waltzed along the frozen tracks fearless, never looking back, so sure but a massive metal hearse then claimed you for death, and death was soon made pure but a massive metal hearse then claimed you for death, and death was soon made pure you for death, and death was soon made pure

owl creek bridge - inquietude ep by n.m. bell (based on "an occurrence at owl creek bridge" by ambrose bierce) you called alabama home and the water swept below while the ropes around your wrists sank to the bone following the driftwood, your thoughts, they slip back home the plank fell as your body dropped your mind already grey whether your nerves or biology, who could say? the rope, now taut, rudely shakes your mind awake for death is foaming white but you lay grey as a ghost your neurons dance with light as you escape the pain and so we all take flight when our lives come to an end we lie until our eyes see once again dodging bullets, stretching time as your knuckles grasp the bank body arisen as the sun sank drying, running frantic, yet not a drop drank your children's footsteps at the door you feel your wife's embrace the poison takes hold and your senses cringe with angst it appears reality was with delusion laced ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh (x2) for death is foaming white but you lay grey as a ghost your neurons dance with light as you escape the pain and so we all take flight when our lives come to an end we lie until our eyes see we lie until our eyes see once again

cut ti(m)e(s) - inquietude ep by n.m. bell fog's dew collects on aspen trees it quivers and quakes as a boy stirs the breeze having lost his contract to his life filled with ease navy jacket tattered, home strewn away miles, mere ticks in the brush by the bay echoes, "no one here cares if you go or stay" singing "the blackest of ships, by the sun soon turn grey" "strongest ropes in the yard begin their slow fray" "each step's impression whispers to say: 'cut ties, and cut time,' as they both fade away" grip a small button once sewn on lapel misty wind scrubbed from cold ocean swells a frozen testament that there surely is hell but each crystal melts and i seem to recall a land away, homes surely outside my walls stares on, submits power, a clocks hand.. crawls singing "the blackest of ships, by the sun, soon turn grey" "strongest ropes in the yard begin their slow fray" "each step's impression whispers to say: 'cut ties, and cut time,' as they both fade away"

sunday robbery - inquietude ep by n.m. bell standing masked on the floor broken glass, all alone untold treasure filling palms and pockets both carpet stains in the hall fingerprints litter the walls a knife's handle rests against a future oath banging on the door sends a message human greed that's simply wanting more once inside, it pillages and it plunders all where now, peacefully, it rests against the core tires squeal, fear awakes heat enveloping the brakes men and minds go racing all the same holding back human strength furniture hinges ache the door crashes in, the reason that they came banging on the door sends a message human greed that's simply wanting more once inside, it pillages and it plunders all where now, peacefully, it rests against the core bodies break, beating halts once awake, sleep recalls justice served, and yet no smiles show plastic bags cover all photos taken, writing scrawled phone calls made and safely home they go banging on the door sends a message human greed that's simply wanting more once inside, it pillages and it plunders all where now, peacefully, it rests against the core
